Caritas Solutions LLC is a leading staffing firm in the medical industry and offers users of its website various services in connection with temporary placements nationwide. Caritas’ Privacy Policy is designed to provide a clear understanding of the information we collect and how we use it to provide our services and give users a better experience.
It applies to users of www.caritassolutions.com and any U.S.-based affiliated websites, web pages, mobile applications, and mobile websites operated by Caritas (collectively, the “Site”), including users seeking to register as medical providers (“Providers”), those seeking the services of one or more Providers (“Clients”), and users of the services Caritas provides through the Site or other channels, including by telephone (“Services”). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Caritas,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Caritas Solutions LLC, and “you” refers to you as a visitor, registrant, or user of the Site or Services.
Certain subsidiaries and affiliates may have separate privacy policies, which will control and supersede this Privacy Policy in the event of a conflict or inconsistency.
By using the Site and/or Services, you consent to our collection, storage, use, sharing, and disclosure of your personal information and other information as described in this Privacy Policy.
I. Information We Collect
We collect “Personal Information”—information that can be used to contact or identify you, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address—about our users. To use some Services offered by Caritas, you must register on the Site. Each time you register, you become a “Registrant.”
Visitors can access and browse certain portions of the Site without disclosing Personal Information. Like most websites, we collect certain information from your computer or mobile device by automated means when you visit, such as your IP address, software and hardware attributes, usage data, and pages accessed. Users who browse without registering are Site “Visitors.”

Personal Information you provide when registering; posting a profile or other materials, photos, comments, blogs, or contributions; communicating through the Site; discussing opportunities by telephone; using our mobile applications; or otherwise contacting us by phone, email, or postal mail will be stored by us. You represent that you have the right and authority to provide all Personal Information you submit.
When registering
When you register directly through the Site, we collect and store information provided on our online registration forms, including your first and last name, email address, home address or other contact information, and telephone number.
By telephone
You may provide Personal Information when you contact us or use Services offered by telephone. This may include your name, email address, home address, telephone number, financial information, information about the opportunities you seek, and references.

You may provide information through online communications, groups, blogs, comments, discussion forums, payment platforms, telephone, email, postal mail, chat, photographs, or other Site features. We collect and store the Personal Information you provide through these channels. You are responsible for obtaining consent from references before providing their personal information to us.
2. Information Provided by Others
Background-check providers
To protect the safety and integrity of the Site and Caritas’ business and employees, Caritas may use a third-party consumer reporting agency to conduct a background check when you use our Services. We will inform you and obtain your specific consent before such a check. Caritas may receive a copy of, or otherwise have access to, the completed background check.
Service providers used in connection with our Services
If you engage a Client or Provider through Caritas or the Site, that Client or Provider may provide us Personal Information about you or your affiliates or acquaintances, including information relating to your transactions with them.
Other sources
We may obtain publicly available information about you from other sources, including demographic data or information about your medical practice and registration.
3. Information You Authorize Us to Collect
Cookies, web beacons, and other technologies
We and our service providers collect information from visits to our Site to gather statistics about use and effectiveness, evaluate advertising, customize your experience, and improve our Services. Technologies may include cookies and tracking pixels. A cookie is a small data file that allows us to recognize you when you return using the same computer and browser. You can remove or block cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect your ability to use the Site.
Tracking pixels or web beacons collect standard information sent by your browser, such as browser type and the address of the website from which you arrived. Tracking pixels do not identify individual users, and their data is generally analyzed in aggregate for analytics, advertising auditing and reporting, and content or advertising personalization.
When you visit our Site or open an email, authorized third parties may place or recognize cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to provide relevant advertisements. To request that we opt you out of the collection of data on our Site used for targeted advertising on other websites, email [email protected]. This does not opt you out of generic, non-targeted advertising.
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” feature. There is currently no industry standard for responding to these signals, and we do not respond to them at this time. If this changes, we will describe the change in this Privacy Policy.
Our Site may include social-media features and widgets. These features may collect your IP address and the URL of the page you are visiting and may set a cookie. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.
II. How We Use Information
In general, Personal Information is used to perform the Services, communicate with you, and protect the safety and integrity of the Site.
We also use information to improve our Services and customize the user experience, including providing useful features and promotions based on the Services you seek. Information collected through cookies and similar technologies may be aggregated for statistical analysis, trend tracking, advertising evaluation, and analysis of Site-use patterns.
III. How We Share Information
We may share information with third parties as described below. By using the Site or Services, you agree to allow us to share Personal Information in these ways.
1. With Registered Users
We may share information included in your job posting or profile, aside from contact information, as well as your name, location, specialty, curriculum vitae, license or certification status, and other pertinent information.
2. With Vendors and Service Providers
We may share Personal Information with vendors retained to perform services on our behalf, such as email services, demographic or geolocation services, background or verification checks, and payment processing. These providers are not authorized by us to use or disclose information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements.
Phone numbers collected will not be shared with third-party providers. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. With Affiliates and Partners
We may disclose information to affiliates or subsidiaries to provide Services, operate the Site, and for other commercial purposes. We may also share Personal Information with business partners in connection with transactions, potential job postings, placements, or related activities.
5. With Your Consent
We may share your Personal Information with a third party when you consent to the sharing.
6. Background Checks
Caritas may request background checks through third-party consumer reporting agencies. Caritas assumes no responsibility or liability to you or a third party by virtue of requesting a background check, its performance, or the results obtained by the vendor. You acknowledge that sensitive material may be included in a background check and that you are responsible for providing correct contact information to receive such materials.
7. Business Transactions
If Caritas undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its assets, Personal Information may be transferred to another company. We will use reasonable efforts to require the recipient to use the information consistently with this Privacy Policy.

You may stop marketing emails by following the “Unsubscribe” or “Opt-Out” instructions in those emails or by emailing [email protected]. We may still send administrative emails regarding Caritas, including updates to this Privacy Policy and notifications of new Providers or Clients in your area.

IX. Reviewing and Updating Your Information
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you or ask for it to be corrected, updated, or removed. We may decline a request if the requested action would violate a law, rule, regulation, contractual obligation, or internal compliance or retention requirement.
Send requests to [email protected].
